Roasted Red Pepper Hummus with Fritos

Fritos are the highest calorie foods per ounce, bar none. A favorite of backpackers, this offers a way to break up the monotony of corn chips, while also adding a little protein and zest to the fat & salt. If I had a cold beer to drink with this creation it might be a masterpiece..

– 2 oz powdered hummus mix (available at any serious hippy grocery or organic co op)
– 1 c treated water (aquamira, no iodine)
– 1 oz olive oil (garlic infused if possible)
– 1 oz tomato powder
– .5 oz hot sauce
– 1 tsp nutritional yeast
– 1 tsp Johnny’s seasoning salt

Mix with yr spork, you hippy. Enjoy with Fritos.. Tho this picture features classic Fritos we’ve found that the “Scoop” variety are actually a better delivery system. Happy snacking!
